Baltimore’ beautiful Inner Harbor served as the backdrop for the Chamber’s 2012 Annual Meeting held at the elegant Hyatt Regency Baltimore.
Power networking was the order of the day as well as greetings, to those gathered, from Lt. Governor Anthony Brown and Maryland Attorney General Doug Gansler.
US Congressman Elijah Cummings delivered a stirring keynote address citing some of his experiences as a young man and why he continues to be the leader, local and national, in the fight for small business development.
The Chamber also cited MJ “Jay” Brodie for his service to the City of Baltimore. “Jay” Brodie has just recently retired as President of the Baltimore Development Corporation.
Both MJ “Jay” Brodie and US Congressmen were honored with a painting of Baltimore done by artist Mark Cottman.
The prestigious Board Chairman’s award was presented by Board Chair Sabrina Jones to Board Member Michael Graham for his outstanding service to the Board and to the Community at large.
Board Chairman Jones stated that “the Chamber is and will continue be a leader in the fight for small business development in the Region.”
