Eben Frederick, President, Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce

Message from Board of Directors Chair, Yvette Clark

Dear Members,

Please join me in congratulating Eben Frederick on his appointment to President of the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce, effective July 1, 2017.

Serving as Interim President since September 2016, Eben has been relentless in strengthening the organization and delivering more value to our members. His devotion and commitment to the Chamber and the Baltimore City business community is inestimable. In August 2015, Eben was nominated to the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors for his success on the Events and Marketing Committee. Throughout the event planning process, he not only demonstrated a positive attitude and strong work ethic, but also an expansive skill set and commitment to results. Upon joining the Board of Directors, Eben immediately took the lead on the Events and Marketing Committee, launching new events, publicizing our efforts, creating excitement and more opportunities for Chamber members.

Eben Frederick’s drive, self-sufficiency and contagious enthusiasm embody the entrepreneurial spirit of the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce. His 11+ years of experience working with hundreds of small to medium size businesses and corporations across the region will propel the Chamber to new heights, substantially increasing our reach and effectiveness as the chief advocate for our city’s business community. The valuable knowledge gained by helping these local businesses grow through creative marketing and development will empower the Chamber to build – and sustain – a stronger presence throughout the State of Maryland.

As a two-time President’s Club Awardee at Comcast Spotlight, Eben brings a proven, extensive track record of developing new relationships and lasting partnerships. He understands what it takes to serve our strong foundation of constituents, while also procuring new membership. The ability to strategically target key accounts and categories through daily prospecting activities, cold calling, and networking has allowed him to build lasting relationships with myriad businesses and organizations in Baltimore and beyond.

I am confident that Eben’s experience, devotion, positive attitude, and ability to see the potential for both Baltimore City and the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce make him the right man for the job.

Best always,

Yvette Clark, Board Chairwoman
