In August 2019, the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce was happy to launch our Non-profit Capacity Building Institute (NCBI) and our Business Development Academy (BDA).
Non-profit organizations represent one of the largest sectors of the City's economy. They are estimated to employ almost one-third of adults working in Baltimore City. They also generate more than $50 billion in annual revenues. Many early stage non-profits need help developing their programs, preparing for funding, and figuring out how to help the communities and causes they serve. The Chamber is here to help these organizations set strong foundations, grow and thrive.
Many business owners need assistance in developing their businesses, increasing sales, marketing effectively, and accessing capital. It is important that small businesses thrive because they are the backbone of our economy. The BDA helps by providing training to small business owners through our members who are experts in their fields.
For businesses that are larger and have different needs, the CEO Roundtable is for you. CEOs and other C-suite level executives, gather together in a confidential environment to discuss challenges and develop strategies to address those challenges. The CEO Roundtable is led by Allan Hirsh, a well respected business coach and host of AHA! Business Radio.
