Census 2020 is less than 2 months away! To make sure all of our neighbors are counted, community groups, nonprofits, neighborhood associations, faith-based organizations, and organizations connected to hard-to-count populations are eligible to apply for Census Community Grants. These grant awards do not require your organization to have a 501(c)(3) designation or have any prior experience. Schools, community groups, businesses and many more are eligible. Grants will range from tiers of up to $500, $500 - $5,000, and $5,000+.

This workshop will show you step-by-step how to develop a competitive application for funding, including defining the target population, developing a budget, and creating a competitive, articulated strategy for success.

The workshop will be taught by William Honablew, Jr. William has trained thousands of people throughout the United States and has helped his clients secure more than $2.7 million in grant funding. His style combines subject mater expertise with hands-on advice and examples.

The Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to serve as an engine for business and economic development that promotes both members’ and the City’s core value propositions.
