It’s an exciting time at Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) as we enter our 70th anniversary celebration. In 2017, we will celebrate 70 years of community leadership; 70 years of inspiring students to achieve their dreams; and 70 years of improving the quality of life for those who choose to pursue higher education as a pathway to success.

The progress BCCC has made since welcoming its inaugural class of 53 students in 1947 on the third floor of Baltimore City College High School is remarkable. Of course, that future is strong as BCCC continues to be a major contributor to regional workforce development and a provider of innovative, life-changing learning opportunities for students.

The BCCC Foundation is working hard to generate more scholarships that will ultimately offer support to students who lack the resources to enroll in or complete programs of interest.

The future is bright as we continue to train and prepare students with our state-of-the-art program offerings. Rest assured, BCCC will be around to offer quality, affordable and accessible educational opportunities with comprehensive programs that meet the professional and personal goals of students for 70 more years to come.

We—students, faculty, staff, and supporters of BCCC—will work together to elevate the College to new heights and make our 70th Anniversary year a historic and memorable year.
