More than 2,300 ENERGY STAR® homes were constructed in the BGE service area in 2015

BALTIMORE (June 13, 2016) — BGE recently cohosted the 2016 Homebuilder and Rater Awards to recognize efforts  to support the ENERGY STAR for New Homes program.  Along with Maryland utilities Potomac Edison, SMECO and sister Exelon utilities Pepco and Delmarva Power, BGE spotlighted leaders in building and certifying ENERGY STAR certified new homes.

From Industry to Art: BGE to Add Murals to Baltimore Skyline

Iconic Maryland images to adorn storage tanks at BGE’s Spring Gardens campus in South Baltimore 

 BALTIMORE (April 5, 2016) -  As BGE marks its 200th anniversary this year, the company announced the addition of  large-scale murals to the storage tanks at the company’s Spring Gardens campus in South Baltimore.  The site is located near the I-95 and I-395 interchange at one of the major gateways to Baltimore.  The murals will depict images synonymous with Maryland: blue crabs, thoroughbred racing and the Star Spangled Banner.
